Terms and Conditions
Preamble
These Terms and Conditions are the law that governs how you can use the OneRed website, apps, and gaming services. You agree to these Terms by going to the site, signing up for an account, putting money, making bets, or taking part in any promotion. If you don’t agree with any portion of this content, you should stop using it right away. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Bonus and Promotion Rules, Game Rules, and any service notices you see while using your account all work with these Terms. If there is a disagreement, the text that best fits the situation will win, as long as Dutch consumer laws stay in place.
Scope and relationship with law
OneRed is supervised by the Netherlands Gambling Authority, which is sometimes referred to as the Kansspelautoriteit. This is done to ensure that the company complies with the rules that govern games of chance in the Netherlands. It is for the purpose of protecting customers, preventing damaging play, discouraging illegal activities, and maintaining honesty that the rules have been established. These goals are something that we plan to achieve with the assistance of well-established procedures, technological advancements, and internal guidelines. These Terms do not in any way have the effect of diminishing or diminishing any rights that cannot be legally taken away by any means. It is required that any term of these Terms that is in contradiction with an applicable rule be revised in order to adhere to the requirement.
Eligibility and access
You may open and use an account only if you have reached the legal gambling age in the Netherlands, act on your own behalf, and use the services for personal entertainment. Professional or commercial play is not allowed. Access may be restricted where law, licence conditions, or risk controls require it. You agree not to conceal or falsify identity, residence, or device information, and you agree not to use tools that obscure location. If your details appear in the Central Exclusion Register, often known as CRUKS, you will not be able to play and your access will be limited to information features that are not considered gambling.
Contract formation
A contract arises when you accept these Terms during registration or at the moment you otherwise continue to use the platform after being shown a clear notice of these Terms. The contract is concluded with the operator of OneRed as identified within the service interface and legal notices displayed there. You confirm that you are legally capable of entering into this contract and that all information you provide is correct and complete.
Registration and account integrity
Each natural person may hold a single account. Your account is personal and must not be shared, transferred, or sold. During registration and at later points we may ask for information to verify identity, age, residence, ownership of payment instruments, and source of funds.
Duty of care and safer play
We operate with a duty of care. This means monitoring relevant patterns, intervening when warning signs appear, and providing tools that help you stay in control. You can set deposit caps, time limits, loss caps, wager caps, and breaks from play. Reality checks may appear during sessions. We may contact you to discuss your play when risk indicators are triggered or when law or policy requires additional safeguards. You can ask for a break from gambling through the platform and you can enroll in CRUKS for a stronger barrier. Independent help is available around the clock from recognized counselling services, and our staff can guide you toward those resources.
Player limits and affordability assessments
Default caps on deposits and other forms of expenditure are part of the Dutch approach to responsible gambling. In some cases, stricter thresholds apply to younger adults as defined by law. Where your activity approaches or surpasses default parameters, we will carry out affordability assessments and may contact you for supportive checks.
Deposits, withdrawals, and payment instruments
Deposits are accepted only through methods made available in your account and held in your own name. We may verify ownership and may require that withdrawals use the same method where feasible. Funds are released once identity and security checks are complete. We do not operate as a bank and do not pay interest on balances. If a chargeback or reversal occurs without a legitimate basis, we may deduct the amount from your balance, restrict access, or take steps to recover losses that arise. When technical or banking partners need time to process a transaction, we will keep you informed through the service where possible.
Anti-money-laundering and sanctions compliance
Transactions are monitored to identify unusual activity. Where legal thresholds or risk indicators are reached, we may request additional information and we may be required to file a report with the competent authority. You acknowledge that in some circumstances we are not permitted to inform you about any report. We keep records of due-diligence steps and retain them in accordance with statutory requirements.
Game fairness and technical standards
Games depend on verified live-game systems or validated random number generators. The Dutch regulatory framework includes independent audits and conformance evaluations. Our change-control procedures, integrity checks, and game servers are always up and running smoothly. In the event that a platform failure, network event, or other similar disruption occurs during a game round that is beyond your control, we will proceed to settle the round in accordance with the applicable game rules. In cases when a fair determination cannot be reached, the round may be voided and the stake restored, or the session may be ended in a transparent and consistent manner.
Live experiences and conduct
If a live round is affected by technical issues, dealer error, or a feed interruption, the operator will apply the relevant procedure described in the game rules to ensure fair treatment for all participants.
Progressive prizes and pooled mechanics
Some games feature pooled prizes that can grow over time. Contribution mechanics, eligibility, and payout steps are explained in the game rules and promotion summaries. Where a pooled prize is triggered, settlement follows the rules of the relevant supplier. If a pooled mechanism is discontinued or replaced, contributions not yet committed to an outcome will be handled in line with regulatory expectations and supplier terms, and information will be displayed in the service.
Tournaments and leaderboards
From time to time we may offer competitions that rank players based on defined criteria in participating games. Eligibility, scoring method, tie-break logic, and award structures are published with the tournament notice. Prizes may take the form of cashable funds, bonus funds, free play, or entries to later events. Misuse of tournament systems, including collusion or attempts to manipulate results, is prohibited. We may adjust standings to correct obvious error or rule abuse and may disqualify participants where fair play is compromised.
Bonus and promotion framework
You don’t have to join promotions, but you do have to do anything specific to join, like clicking an opt-in button or inputting a code inside the service. Clear language explains the main rules and the entire terms before you decide to join. Some examples are wagering restrictions, contribution rates by game type, limits on how much you can bet with bonus funds, regulations about when bonuses expire, and any geographic or product exclusions. If we have a good reason to think that someone is abusing bonuses, opening multiple accounts, dumping chips, or doing other sorts of fraud, we may take the bonus away or refuse it, change balances to reflect fair play, and do other things that the law and the promotion rules allow.
Advertising, affiliates, and creators
Dutch law limits gambling ads. We avoid untargeted advertisements and networks that reach children and vulnerable groups. Role models, sports sponsorship, and endorsements are regulated nationally. OneRed affiliates, streamers, and content makers must respect our principles, which prohibit false claims, unrealistic winnings, and suggesting gambling is a financial answer. We audit marketing partners and may suspend if criteria are not reached. You can adjust your marketing selections in your account at any time, but service messages may remain.
Ownership of content and licence to use
All software, text, graphics, audio, video, trademarks, service marks, and trade names present on the platform belong to OneRed or to licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable licence to access and use the services for entertainment as described in these Terms. You may not copy, publish, modify, reverse engineer beyond the limits of mandatory law, distribute, or otherwise exploit the content or code. If you post content in chat or community features, you grant us a limited licence to use, store, reproduce, and display that content for service operation and moderation.
Acceptable use
You can’t use any automated play tools, scripts, scrapers, bots, or try to get into systems, accounts, or data. You agree not to submit harmful files, get around security, or stop our services. It is against the rules to abuse extra features, deceive with other users, or wash money through circular transactions or rapid transfers. If you break the rules, you could be suspended, have your account closed, lose your promotional fees, or face other legal or these Terms actions.
Inactive and dormant accounts
Your account may be marked as inactive if you don’t log in or place bets for a long time. Before putting your account on hold, we will try to get in touch with you by service notifications. We will send any withdrawable real-money balance back to a validated payment method once we can. We will keep your money safe as required by law if we can’t reach you, and we will keep trying to get in touch with you. Any fees or administrative actions associated to dormancy will be fair, clear within the service, and follow all consumer protection laws.
Suspension, self-exclusion, and closure
You may request a short break, a longer period of self-exclusion, or stricter limits through account tools. You may also enroll in CRUKS for a strong barrier that applies across licensed operators in the Netherlands. We may suspend or close an account to protect a customer, to follow directions from the regulator, to enforce sanctions obligations, or to investigate suspected breaches. When an account is closed, we will release any withdrawable real-money balance after the necessary checks, except where legal duties require a hold, recovery, or report.
Privacy and data protection
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Dutch Implementation Act, OneRed is in charge of data. We gather and process personal data to provide the service, complete a contract with you, follow the law (including anti-money-laundering and sanctions laws), keep the service safe and secure, and, if allowed, offer personalized features and deals. Our Privacy Policy talks about types of data, reasons for collecting it, legal bases, how long it can be kept, how to access and update it, how to delete it, how to limit it, how to move it, and how to object. You can use the tools in your account to exercise these rights, and you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We safeguard data by design and by default, keep encryption in transit and at rest when necessary, separate roles and access, and keep records of administrative actions to hold people accountable.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to run the site, keep sessions safe, track performance, stop fraud, remember your preferences, and, when possible, customize content. You will see a consent interface on your first visit and from time to time after that. This enables you control non-essential technology. You can also change the permissions in your browser. Essential cookies are needed for basic tasks like logging in and stopping fraud.
Data retention and minimization
For the reasons given, including the duration mandated by gaming, finance, tax, and money laundering regulations, we will retain data for the duration necessary. We safely remove backups and archives after careful management.
International transfers and safeguards
We employ legal tools that are recognized by European law, such adequacy decisions, standard contractual provisions, or other protections, when personal data is sent outside the European Economic Area. We look at the legal situation in the destination and take extra steps where necessary. We choose vendors based on their skills, dependability, and ability to meet data protection standards. We also have contracts that spell out everyone’s duties and responsibilities.
Children and vulnerable persons
OneRed is not intended for minors or for individuals who have self-excluded or been excluded through CRUKS. We deploy checks to prevent underage access and we intervene if we discover that an account was opened or used contrary to these rules. If a minor or an excluded individual has engaged in play, we will close the account, void any wagers that the law requires us to void, and return funds to the rightful owner where legally appropriate.
Platform availability, maintenance, and updates
We do our best to be reliable, but maintenance, outages from third parties, and other things that come up can affect availability. We’ll plan work for periods when things are quieter and put up status updates in the service. Updates to software make it run better, provide new features, and make it safer. Features that are being tested may change or be taken away. Your feedback makes the experience better and helps us find problems quickly.
Security and account protection
Ensuring security is everyone’s job. Device recognition, session timeouts, rigorous password enforcement, and optional additional verification factors are all part of our control set. Passwords should be kept secret, logged out when done, browser and device updates should be installed, and in the event that you suspect unwanted access, you should contact us through the service. When we see suspicious activity or multiple failed login attempts, we reserve the right to temporarily lock the account and request additional verification before granting access again.
Third-party content and links
The platform may display content or links from third parties, such as game suppliers, payment providers, or partners. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or security practices of third-party sites or services, and visiting them is at your discretion. Where third-party terms apply, they will be presented or referenced in a way that lets you review them before use.
Evidence, records, and audits
System logs, transaction histories, gameplay records, and communications captured through the platform may be used to resolve disputes, verify outcomes, demonstrate compliance, and support audits by authorities or independent assessors. We keep records in formats that preserve integrity and readability. If a discrepancy arises between your display and our server records, the server records will generally prevail unless an obvious error is shown.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a concern, you can raise a complaint through the tools built into the service. We will acknowledge receipt, investigate the facts, and deliver a reasoned response. If you remain dissatisfied after our final position, you may seek independent advice or pursue the matter before the competent Dutch courts. The Kansspelautoriteit supervises the market and compliance but does not normally adjudicate private contractual disputes. We will cooperate with any lawful inquiry by supervisory bodies and will implement binding directions.
Changes to these Terms
Laws, licence conditions, and best-practice standards evolve. We may amend these Terms to reflect regulatory updates, technical changes, or improvements to our duty of care. Where a change is significant we will notify you inside the service and, where required by law, ask for your explicit agreement before the change takes effect. If you do not accept an update, you should stop using the services and request account closure through the available tools.
Assignment and transfer
We may assign or transfer rights and obligations under these Terms to another entity in connection with a reorganization, a merger, or a transfer of the platform, provided that your statutory rights are preserved and service continuity is maintained. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent obtained through the processes made available in the service.
Severability and waiver
If a provision in these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder will continue in full effect. A failure or delay to exercise a right does not operate as a waiver. Any waiver for a specific situation does not set a precedent for later situations.
Entire agreement and interpretation
These Terms, together with the policies and rules referenced within the service, make up the entire agreement between you and the operator of OneRed concerning the use of the platform. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation. Words in the singular include the plural and the other way around, and references to persons include legal entities where context allows. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected to them are governed by Dutch law. Unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise, disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. You and the operator may agree to mediation or another consensual method of resolution before litigation, but neither party is required to do so unless a specific program or promotion rule states otherwise.
Survival
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination or closure will survive, including ownership clauses, privacy and data protection commitments, limitations of liability, acceptable use restrictions, evidence and records provisions, and dispute resolution clauses.
Language versions
These Terms are provided in English for clarity. If a translated version is made available within the service and a discrepancy arises, the version designated as authoritative in the legal notices inside the platform will prevail.
Guidance for readers
This document is meant to be readable without sacrificing legal clarity. It does not rely on contact details, addresses, or explicit numerals. Instead, it explains principles, roles, and duties in plain text. Before publication, align the Bonus and Game Rules, the safer-gambling tooling, and the payments workflow with your actual systems so that the promises made here are precisely reflected in practice. A short plain-language summary for new players can sit alongside this full text to aid comprehension, but the Terms above remain the binding version.
